Mothers' Union is an international Christian membership charity that aims to demonstrate the Christian faith in action through the transformation of communities worldwide.
We have more than 4 million members in 83 countries working with people of all faiths and none to promote stable marriage, family life and the protection of children. Our members work around the world bringing hope and practical support to millions of people every year through our parenting, literacy and community development programmes and as part of the volunteer base of local churches.
In the Canterbury province, Mothers' Union projects range from providing holidays for families in particular need of a break, supporting parents with seriously ill children in hospital, and supporting refugees in areas as far apart as England, Finland and Malta, among others. We also run marriage preparation and parenting programmes, support prisoners and their families, and much more.
